My Name is Vilde Skaarnæs and I'm a Designer from Norway with a passion for creating.

I like to take inspiration from my surroundings and integrate this into my designs. I have a very visual mind so working on the ideas by hand, by sketching them out or making a model, helps me get my visions to life.

I always strive to push the boundaries of what is possible, experimenting

with new materials, colours, textures, technologies, and design techniques

to create make eye-catching and unique products.

My hope is to one day bring inspiration, uniqueness and passion into the field.

During my BA I've worked in a variety of different design industries ranging from packaging, furniture, home appliances, graphic design and more.

I've always been observant, and my degree has helped me use this to improve my ability to empathise with consumers and find innovative solutions to their needs, which I see as an essential aspect of creating products and furniture that are accessible to everyone.

Began my studies at Oslo Met, and went to UWTSD for my exchange semester. Transferred summer 2022 to UWTSD and graduated from UWTSD with a Bachelor of Arts in Product and Furniture Design.

Secondary School

Went to Kirkeparken in Moss, Norway, studying Art, Design and Architecture with the programs Art and visual effects and Design and architecture.
